A/K Computers, Inc. is one of Central Pennsylvania's leading systems integrators. Mr. Donald Auker founded the company in 1981. At that time, the first personal computers were just arriving on the market. The company has remained strong in the market - growing from individual PC's to networks to network cabling to CD-ROM and optical disk imaging systems.

Optical Storage Solutions (OSS) is a company that develops recording and imaging software for the Recorder of Deeds' office in county governments. OSS performs all aspects of the hardware and software installation and provides ongoing training and technical support. Current installations are in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

The LANDEX software is an information and imaging system designed for the recording of land records. The application consists of recording, scanning, indexing, accounting, public retrieval, and remote-client modules. LANDEX is completely modular in function. This allows for configurations that best suit the client's needs and provides an orderly path for future growth. LANDEX incorporates a software design that is open across a variety of computing platforms and uses a client/server architecture with a consistent Window's interface. All input fields are user-definable. Staff, management, and the using public quickly recognize LANDEX's power and ease of use.

The major emphasis of A/K Computers is installation and support of personal computers and networks in various businesses, government organizations and school districts. A retail line is not available.
