Donald Auker

Mr. Auker began his systems career in 1977. As a sole proprietor, he formed a company for the development of software for accountants and small businesses. He performed system design, programming, and implementation activities as well as developed hardware to create multiuser and multiprocessor network systems based on early microbased computers. In 1981, he formed A/K Computers, Inc. to market prior applications as well as develop new applications for a new and evolving personal computer market. Possessing both technical and application expertise, he followed the evolving technology in PC based networks and multiuser systems and began designing systems based on the latest PC technology using Novell- and Microsoft-based IBM compatible networks. Under his leadership, the firm expanded from two employees in 1981 to approximately thirty at present, serving a broad range of application areas. Don's major focus at present is the Optical Storage Solutions side of the business. He provides design management and programming of new features for the LANDEX software application.
